Anjali Dance Company is a professional contemporary dance company, and is one of the first of its kind in the world. All of Anjali's dancers have learning disabilities. The company produces and tours performances and undertakes educational and outreach work. Anjali aims to show that disability is no barrier to creativity.

Anjali Dance Company presents a fundraising Gala Event to be held at 8pm on Thursday April 3 2008 at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury. Click here for more information.

Anjali have been invited to open the Kultur Vom Rande Festival in Reutlingen, Germany. The Company will perform two pieces from Something WIld, Butterfly and Save The Last Dance. on Friday May 30 2008.

In September 2007, Anjali started a pilot of a new education programme, the Anjali Youth Dance Company. This group of talented young people with learning disabilities work at weekends in Oxford. During February and April 2008, they will be giving performances of new work. Contact the Anjali Office for more information.

Anjali Dance Company is one of four youth dance companies that were selected to work with a film director to create a dance film commissioned by Channel 4, Youth Dance England and South East Dance. This film was screened by Channel 4 through its 'Three-Minute Wonder' series in November 2006.
