Bethany trained at London Contemporary Dance School and graduated with a First. She works as a performer and teacher, exploring improvisation and physical theatre practices.
She produces, creates and performs as a founding member of The Yonis, a Collective formed at London Contemporary Dance School in 2017 which encourages female creativity. Their work has been shared at venues including the V&A, Woman SRSLY and Brainchild Festival.
Bethany has performed works by choreographers including Hannes Langolf, Dam Van Huynh and Sasha Roubicek. She continues to perform Becky Namgauds’ highly physical outdoor work ‘Rodadoras’ and she collaborate with Amy Toner on immersive performances, most recently at the RA.
Bethany also works with Counterpoint Company for over 55s, recently choreographing a new work which was premiered at DanceEast. Her teaching experience includes The Place CAT scheme, dance for Parkinson’s and schools workshops.
