Anjali Dance Company is a professional contemporary dance company, and is one of the first of its kind in the world. All of Anjali's dancers have learning disabilities. The company produces and tours performances and undertakes educational and outreach work. Anjali aims to show that disability is no barrier to creativity.

In June and July 2008, Anjali's Education Team travelled to Wiltshire for a residency with seven special schools in the County. The Company helped them prepare performances for the Wilshire Special Schools Music Festival. Anjali Dance Company held a fundraising Gala Event on Thursday April 3 2008 at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury. The event was well attended and raised over £2,000 towards Anjali's Education and outreach activities. Anjali were invited to open the Kultur Vom Rande Festival 08 in Reutlingen, Germany at the end of May. The trip was a great success and the Company performed two pieces from Something WIld, Butterfly and Save The Last Dance. In September 2007, Anjali started a pilot of a new education programme, the Anjali Youth Dance Company. This group of talented young people with learning disabilities work at weekends in Oxford.
